My name is Giles. I live in this beautiful 117-year-old duplex with my family and our upstairs renters. I’m a mama, a Southern belle, an opera singer, a Detroiter, and a DIYer. The purpose of this blog is to document our lives here and the crazy projects we take on for the love of history and old homes.
